I share my thoughts about the Pathfinder: Lost Omens – Highhelm supplement, for the Pathfinder roleplaying game, from Paizo Inc. The tome ties nicely into the latest Pathfinder adventure path, Sky King’s Tomb.

SUMMARY

While there's plenty of great gaming content - including character options, monsters, magic items, setting info, and more - I can't say Highhelm is a must own for those who aren't interested in taking a deep dive into the culture of the dwarves of Golarian. On the other hadn't, if you want to learn more about dwarves in Pathfinder and are going to run the Sky King's Tomb adventure path, this is essentially a must own. I do want to mention my biggest issue with the book is the pricing. $44.99 for 136 pages is mighty steep (even more so with $29.99 for the PDF) and Paizo really should begin considering providing a free PDF alongside physical books which are ordered directly from the company.
