You know anything Lovecraftian gets a solid peek around these parts so I’m happy to mention RAFM launched a Kickstarter for a new set of Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition miniatures earlier today and the project has already hit well over 200% of the original $6500 CAD goal. This wave of miniatures are tied into the classic CofC module Masks of Nyarlathotep. The Canadian based company’s project continues through February 11th so there’s still time to lay claim to your adventurers as well as sanity shaking horrors.
From RAFM:
The officially licensed 7th edition Call of Cthulhu RPG miniature line. Classic modules brought to life in 32mm miniature form.
The officially licensed RAFM Call of Cthulhu Miniatures are award winning and an iconic leader in the horror genre within the gaming industry for decades. Originally launched in 1985, the line still draws the interest of hobbyists around the world. It is clear that loyal Call of Cthulhu fans want these miniatures to support their gaming.
And why not? They’re awesome miniatures at a terrific price!
But as amazing as the line is, it can only get better and that is what this fundraising is all about. To take something that has been an industry leader and expand it to continue meeting the needs of our fans.
Our fundraising program in the past summer gave us the ability to produce sixteen new figures and helped us determine the direction our fans wanted us to proceed. Not only is there a demand for the classic, award-winning Call of Cthulhu Miniatures but there is a need for miniatures based on the characters from Chaosim’s award-winning Call of Cthulhu RPG modules. We at Silver Fox Productions aim to bring both of these worlds together to create the ultimate gaming experience for you.
New, exciting, and in a direction the fans crave, RAFM Call of Cthulhu 7th Edition Miniatures will be providing our backers and fans with high quality miniatures from the classic RPG modules. Our initial launch is for the module Masks of Nyarlathotep, but we are not stopping there! We will continue into Fungi from Yuggoth, which was reprinted with the title The Day of the Beast. Finally, we will add miniatures from the supplement House of R’lyeh, a more recent release and have plans to delve into the depths of the Cthulhu Mythos further with future modules. These could include Shadows of Yog-Shothoth and Ramsey Campbell’s Goatswood and Less Pleasant Places. We just need your support to make this campaign a success!
