Easter Sunday brought about the latest episode as the boys take a look at Circus Train from Victory Point Games and Nuclear War from Flying Buffalo Games.
Justin De Witt and Anne-Marie De Witt, creators of Bloodsuckers coming in June from Fireside Games, stop by to visit with Elliott on the latest edition of The Game Plan.
A look at the latest gaming news, Elliott’s first (and possibly last) Kickstarter report provides plenty of groans from Jeff, and a bit of a discussion regarding plans for Origins 2011 round out the show.

I agree 100%! Circus Train is the best game of the past couple of year! It captures the essence of a circus on the road and the cut-throat aspect of running your own show. I hope they re-release it in a box-format!
We don’t published boxed games at VPG, but we take a lot of risks with daring new titles (like CIRCUS TRAIN) and do the development work on them and put them out there.
GMT is our strategic partner and THEY published dynamite boxed games. Now that GMT is on a tear with Euro/Family games (like DOMINANT SPECIES), I suspect that they’ll be checking out VPG’s titles in this genre and seeing what looks good to “delux-ify” and sell as a boxed game.
Fingers crossed. 🙂

Victory Point Games
As our visitors already know, we’re big fans of VPG and believe in spreading the good word about Alan and the rest of the Victory Point gang!
I actually just play tested one of VPG’s titles, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Look for ‘For the Crown’ on TGG soon.
