The Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay: Death on the Reik Director’s Cut is Now Available

Earlier today Cubicle 7 Entertainment released the second chapter of the Enemy Within Director’s Cut campaign in PDF. The classic Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay adventure Death on the Reik is revised and revamped for an all new generation of gamers. The campaign continues as the characters travel the river Reik following up on leads they collected in the Enemy in Shadows adventure. The 160 page PDF is available for $19.99 at DriveThruRPG. You can also preorder the physical book for $39.99 and the upcoming companion for $34.99.

From Cubicle 7:

Welcome to Death on the Reik, part two of the revised and updated Director’s Cut of the Enemy Within, one of the most highly regarded roleplaying campaigns ever written! Created by legendary WFRP writer, Graeme Davis, one of the original writers of the campaign, the Director’s Cut provides additional material to create an enhanced experience that maintains all the mood and paranoia of the original. Death on the Reik carries on from where Enemy in Shadows left off, taking your unlikely heroes on a grand adventure up and down the remarkable Reik, the largest river in the Old World and trade route to the heart of the Empire.

Death in the Reik includes:

  • A selection of ‘Grognard Boxes’ that add entirely new ways to play through the adventures, ensuring even those who have played the Enemy Within campaign before will find Death on the Reik new and exciting.
  • A complete guide to ‘River Life of the Empire’, detailing everything required to take your games of WFRP to the dangerous rivers of the Empire.

The Enemy Within is the campaign all roleplaying game enthusiasts should play at least once in their lives, making Death on the Reik an essential purchase for all gamers.

  1. Faster than Jesus says:

FYI, ‘River Life of the Empire’ has been moved to the Companion and replaced with the first part of ‘Carrion up the Reik’.

‘Carrion up the Riek’ was originally published in the Hogshead version of ‘Power Behind the Throne’ and intended to bridge the narrative gap between the two installments. Cubicle 7 originally stated it would be in the Companion, but appear to have switched the two around, having skimmed through DotR I don’t see how it would fit if it was anywhere near the size it was in 1st ed.

Cubicle 7 should have given a heads up on this, but I think it’s a better way around as it keeps the adventure in the adventure book.

A good in depth review of Enemy in Shadows, btw!
