The Castles & Crusades Codex Infernum and Codex Exaltum is Past 1100% Funding on Kickstarter

Troll Lord Games is in the midst of a successful Kickstarter to bring the Castles & Crusades Codex Infernum and Codex Exaltum to gamers everywhere. These two volumes feature both angelic creatures of all kinds as well as the foulest demons and devils. The project is well past the 1100% funding mark and you can reserve copies of both books in print and PDF for a $99 pledge or grab them both in PDF for a $35.00 pledge through October 6th. Expected delivery is next August.

About the project:

Monsters! Unhallowed creatures from the planes most wretched to holy beings of the planes of bliss! This project comprises two separate books, Codex Infernum and Codex Exaltum. The first of these books  revisits the Tome of the Unclean and contains well over a hundred demons and devils with new layout and all new color art. The second book, Codex Exaltum, explores the heavenly creatures, the angels, seraphim and others.

Both books will be hardcover, full color books with all of TLG’s signature quality binding. These new publications will also sport the new monster layout and be OGL free, all content derived from the fine creators at Troll Lord Games.

We are going to revisit the Tome of the Unclean, overhaul much of the text, tightening up descriptions and abilities and creating a spin on the demons and devils like never before. Not only will the book appear in full color, all the art planned for it rendered by Zoe DeVos, but it will include a new look at possession, the names of demons and devils, the hierarchy of the Wretched Plains, with addendums for gaming in the world of Aihrde.

It will of course include all your favorites from the Demogorgon, Orcus and all your favorite caste of characters.

Codex Exaltum explores the other realms, those that lie at the polar opposite of the Wretched Plains. Sporting all new material for your C&C game you’ll run the gauntlet from angels like the Cherubim to the Seraphim and Malakim. These and other creatures, good and pure, will find a place at your table, all set to battle the foul evil that lies with the unclean.

Complete with setting rules to help you integrate these creatures into your game and table, adventure hooks and more.
