The ‘Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Kit’ Arrives in Target Stores Exclusively on June 24th

A new introductory boxed set for Dungeons & Dragons is on the near horizon and Target stores will carry the release exclusively for over two months. The Dungeons & Dragons Essentials Kit features a new starter rulebook as well as a fresh introductory adventure, Dragon of Icespire Peak, designed for character levels one to three. While it doesn’t appear dice are in the set it does look like there is a DM’s screen. The D&D Essentials Kit will carry an MSRP of $24.95 and be available at Target on June 24th and everywhere else on September 3rd.

This box contains the essentials you need to run a D&D game with one Dungeon Master and one to five adventurers. A newly designed rulebook on-boards players by teaching them how to make characters, and the included adventure, Dragon of Icespire Peak, introduces a new 1-on-1 rules variant.
