Next month will see the release of The Rocketeer: Fate of the Future from Funko Games. Based on the classic Disney film, the game will task two players to take on the roles of heroes and villains as each aims to obtain the rocket pack blueprints. The game is for two players, ages 12+, plays in around 45 minutes and will carry an MSRP of $24.99 when it arrives September 16th.

During their turn, players pick one of their characters to take the turn and may play cards from your hand that match that character’s symbol.
Card actions are: Move, Tussle (combat), Gain Grit, Raise Rocket Token (heroes), Recruit a Soldier (villain)
Players alternate characters until all 6 characters (3 on each side) have gone and are exhausted. Then players gain rewards based on control of the locations, an then prepare for a new round.
The end of the game happens when the Luxembourg Zeppelin reaches LA, the final round is played and then the game is over.
