Warlord Games has revealed a boxed set of minis for their new Test of Honour skirmish level samurai rules set. For me the big selling point of the Seven Ronin Boxed Set is the fact the sculpts are obviously based on a true masterpiece of cinema, Akira Kurosawa’s Seven Samurai. This box contains eighteen gaming cards for Test of Honour, seven metal character miniatures plus bases, and carries an MSRP of $56.00.
From Warlord:
The characters represented in this box are designed to be used together in games of Test of Honour, and if commanded well they form a powerful force. However, they are armed only with swords, and so can be vulnerable to bow fire and muskets.
For a particularly characterful battle, we recommend you use only the Skill cards in this box to form your Fate deck.
In Test of Honour your force is based around a single samurai hero – a young noble from one of the powerful Japanese clans. This warrior will be your most accomplished swordsman, capable of cutting down multiple opponents, all the while learning and utilising new skills or perhaps being tempted by the path of dishonour…
