When the Wolf Comes RPG Passes 200% Kickstarter Funding

When the Wolf Comes RPG (Outland Entertainment)Creator Ian Sharpe and Outland Entertainment are currently running a Kickstarter to bring the Vikingverse comic series to the world of roleplaying games. When the Wolf Comes RPG transports players into a far flung, Viking fueled, science fiction epic. The project is already 200% funded and you can reserve a copy of the RPG digitally for a $20.00 pledge or grab the hardcover for a $36.00 pledge through August 11th. Expected delivery is next January.

About the project:

When The Wolf Comes is a game of storytelling, heroism, and epic struggle set during a reimagined Norse End of Days – and powered by Robert J. Schwalb’s Shadow of the Demon Lord system.

A complete tabletop role playing game in one (approx) 250 page, 8.5″ x 11″ hardcover book, When The Wolf Comes provides everything you need to create and play characters, form warbands in pursuit of fame and plunder, and tell sci-fi sagas with your friends. The book also gives Game Masters all the tools they need to create adventures, a bestiary full of deadly creatures, a detailed history of the Níu Heimar, and extensive advice to help run the game.

When the Wolf Comes is set in a parallel timeline where the Norse rule seas and stars with restless fleets and Christianity has been put to the Viking sword.

But there are more things in Himinn and Jörð than even the Wise dream of. Shaken to her roots, Yggdrasil sends forth her álfar to cauterize the wound. On Jötunheim, the thralls rise in fresh rebellion, twisting the artifice of Norns to help them escape their bondage. Loud, too, roar the assembly of dvergar, their machine blockades as impenetrable as a door of stone. In this Vikingverse, the storied heroes of mankind are pawns in a cosmic game, paying the price for the terrible mistakes of petty gods.

Will you attempt forestall the ruination of man and the doom of the Æsir– or choose to hasten it and claim their mantle?
