‘Wingspan’ to Take Flight for Stonemaier Games in Q1 2019

Bird watchers and fans of our feathered avian friends everywhere will want to take note of the newest board game coming from Stonemaier Games in early 2019. In Wingspan, players will compete to score the most victory points by enticing a variety of birds into their fill their aviaries. The game is for one to five players, ages 10+, and plays in 40 to 70 minutes. The game will release in Q1 2019 with the MSRP to be announced.

Wingspan is a competitive, medium-weight, card-driven, engine-building board game from Stonemaier Games.

You are bird enthusiasts—researchers, bird watchers, ornithologists, and collectors—seeking to discover and attract the best birds to your aviary. Each bird extends a chain of powerful combinations in one of your habitats (actions). These habitats focus on several key aspects of growth:

–Gain food tokens via custom dice in a birdfeeder dice tower
–Lay eggs using egg miniatures in a variety of colors
–Draw from hundreds of unique bird cards and play them

The winner is the player with the most points after 4 rounds.
