There’s certainly been no lack of Stephen King adaptations this year with It becoming the highest grossing horror film of all time and The Dark Tower, The Mist, and Mr. Mercedes also receiving the big or small screen treatment. Just in time for Halloween, Netflix will premiere two King adaptations: Gerald’s Game and 1922. While Gerald’s Game focuses more on psychological horror, 1922 possesses all the trappings of a classic, moralistic spook tale told around a late night campfire. 1922 stars Thomas Jane, Molly Parker, and Dylan Schmid and arrives on Netflix October 20th, 2017.
