The Doctor Hits the Cover of Entertainment Weekly

Well look here, Matt Smith has made the cover of Entertainment Weekly as Doctor Who becomes the first UK based show to get that kind of star treatment from the magazine. I’m not sure why they’re referring to the show as having a “cult” status as it certainly is mighty mainstream, likely more so than such media darlings as Breaking Bad or Sons of Anarchy. Don’t get me wrong, I love both those series but I think Doctor Who moved out of cult status a long, long time ago.

I won’t complain though as I’ll tip my cap to any U.S. mag that gives the Doctor and his companions the time of day!

Inside the latest issue is plenty of Doctor Who goodness and the EW website has a peek behind the scenes of the show.
