I share a bit of a how to play, as well as my review, for Apocalypse Road from GMT Games. Should you burn rubber down to your friendly local game store to pick up a copy of this NASCAR/Mad Max mashup? Or does this design fail to turn over and get your gaming engine revving? You’ll find out.
Note: At around the 20 minute mark, I give examples of the sorts of movement the cars can engage in. I’m not trying to explain that particular Race Card I have in hand.

Summary
Apocalypse Road takes the well received core racing mechanics of Thunder Alley/Grand Prix and layers a combat system on top to make for some fast, furious, and fun vehicular combat mayhem. The combat and damage modeling is relatively abstract but that helps the game move along at a good pace. I have some minor quibbles but for the most part this is an excellent addition to your collection if your looking for a auto combat game which makes you feel like there's actually a race taking place too.

Great review I also don”t like the way the cars flip it is just not natural the same way in the original game.
I know! It’s weird. It seems like GMT lets little details like this slip past all the time; things which aren’t major problems but just sort of irksome.
