I share my thoughts about the rules light OSR dark fantasy roleplaying game Black Sword Hack, designed by Kobayashi, from Livres de l’Ours. Is this an OSR RPG deserving of your attention? Or should you smack the Hack and leave this game in the dust? You’ll find out!

Summary
As a fan of both minimal OSR rule sets and the works of Michael Moorcock, I enjoyed Black Sword Hack. There's plenty of game material packed within without a ton of crunch or fluff; granted some people will not care for this minimal approach. The game nicely builds on The Black Hack while relying on it's dark style. I have to say the print on demand is pretty *meh* which brought the review score down; if you plan on only getting the PDF then add a full point to my score!
