I kick back to provide my thoughts about the new Arkham supplement, for the Call of Cthulhu roleplaying game, from Chaosium Inc. The book features a deep dive into the fictional home of Miskatonic University featured in H.P. Lovecraft’s Mythos tales. Is this a must have for Keepers everywhere? You’ll find out!

I consider the original Arkham Unveiled (1990) by Keith Herber to be the single best supplement I’ve ever used in any roleplaying game, and I used it to great effect to maximise the sandbox aspects of the investigation scenario None More Black (from Chaosium’s Door to Darkness scenario collection). It was great to use in planning and at the table to expand and detail the options for the PCs to investigate the mounting number of deaths. This review convinces me that Mike Mason and Brett Ratner have done a great job of updating and expanding Arkham Unveiled for 7th edition. Thanks for that, I’m buying it.
I agree the original was exceptionally well done!
