I sit down to share my thoughts about the first mythos/pantheon volume in the Cults of RuneQuest series, The Lightbringers, from Chaosium Inc. The 162 page hardcover is chock full of beautiful art and useful gaming material for players and Game Masters aiming to bring this family of deities to their gaming table.

SUMMARY

The Lightbringers volume of Cults of Runequest is overflowing with stellar artwork and useful and interesting details and game material for just about anyone's RuneQuest campaign. This is the sort of deities book all fantasy roleplaying games should strive for in their systems. I do wish the paper stock was a touch heavier and I'm not sure why this is being marketed to non-gamers but outside of those, this is a wonderful book and a must have if you play or run RuneQuest.
