This time out I share my review of the core rulebook for the sword and sorcery roleplaying game  Elfking: The Immortal, designed by the father and son team of Steve and Joe Saleh, from Lucid Eye Publications. The game’s setting RPG is heavily influenced by Michael Moorcock’s Eternal Champion stories; especially the Elric of Melniboné series.

    Elfking: The Immortal Reviewed

Right off the bat, it's important to know the art is A.I. generated in Elfking: The Immortal, which might make this a nonstarter. The game itself is a rules light, d10 dice pool action resolution mechanic, sword & sorcery RPG. The setting is heavily influenced by Michael Moorcock's Eternal Champion stories; especially the Elric of Melniboné series. I feel the game is solid and is certainly worth taking a look at if you're in the market for a fantasy setting which isn't the same old, same old high fantasy.
