Tackling women’s issues of body image and acceptance in the entertainment industry is the forte of All Shapes and Sizes Welcome. Once again founder Leah Cevoli will bring a diverse group of industry insiders to chair a panel aimed at empowering women through a powerful message of self love.
About the panel:
For years, society has defined the worth of women by their body types. Too tall, too short, too tan, too old, or that terrible phrase “too fat” have been the words on the lips of some, in the film industry, that have started women on their journey to self loathing.
In 2013, actress/producer Leah Cevoli (Robot Chicken, Deadwood), founded the panel in order to pave the road of self-love and empowerment. The panelists, crafted from actresses, models, writers, cosplayers, musicians, comic book writers and publishers, magazine editors, photographers, entrepreneurs, and more, share their personal struggles with body image and discrimination, and finding their way to acceptance.
