Wizard World Cancels Atlanta Game Show; Eyes Portland for First Event

Wizard World, Inc has announced the first of their planned game shows, scheduled for next month in Atlanta, is being canceled. These stand alone shows are to focus on video gaming and coincide with Wizard World entertainment shows, but require a separate ticket purchase. All indications are the gaming show will make its initial bow at the Portland, Oregon Wizard World set for February 19-21, 2016.

“In planning the debut of Wizard World Gaming, it became evident that we would not have enough time to put on a high-quality show in Atlanta,” explained Wizard World CEO John Macaluso. “We are confident and excited in making Portland the launch of our gaming series.”

It does look like the gaming will be included in the admission price for Portland but I’m sure that will change at future shows.
