Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks Board Game (Gale Force Nine)The highly anticipated Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks Board Game will be materializing in our universe next year, by way of the BBC and Gale Force Nine. Two to six players will take on the roles of various incarnations of everyone’s favorite Time Lord as they look to thwart the Daleks and their plans to remove our heroes from the Matrix of time. It appears only six of the twelve Doctors (thirteen if we count the War Doctor) are included but I bet the rest will certainly be covered in an inevitable expansion.

The Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks Board Game is set for a Spring 2017 release and will carry an MSRP of $75.00.

From GF9:

“Exterminate!” They muttered about their sacred hatred, the On-Coming Storm. Their creator had a plan, a plan to make the Daleks great again. A plan to turn all their defeats into victories. A plan to remove the one variable that has always interfered with the master plan. The Doctor must be erased from time itself! Do you have what it takes to fill a Time Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks Board Game Layout (Gale Force Nine)Lord’s shoes? Travel in time and space, meet companions, and have adventures? In Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks you do just that! Every player picks a Doctor and tries to thwart the Dalek’s master plan of erasing the Doctor from history.

In Doctor Who: Time of the Daleks, players take on the role of the Doctor, travelling throughout time and space, finding new companions and having adventures to repair the web of time. Players do this by overcoming challenges. The Doctor can overcome most challenges he encounters, but he always needs his Companions to help give him an edge. Players must cooperate to stop the Daleks, while trying to get their TARDIS to Gallifrey first, to prevent Davros from invading the Matrix in the first place.

The Web of Time is used to monitor progress in the game, as the Doctors and Dalek progress towards Gallifrey. If the Daleks get to Gallifrey first, the Doctors Lose the game, If a Doctor gets there first, the Doctors win the game.
