In time for everyone’s holiday wish list Rio Grande Games has just announced a December release date for Carcassonne: Big Box 3, which includes not only the base game but also an additional five expansions. The expansions included will be Traders & Builders, Inns & Cathedrals, Abbey & Mayor, Princess & Dragon and Bridges, Castles & Bazaars (being replaced are River II, Count, King & Cult from Big Box 2).
I happen to have the Big Box 2 and it’s a great value. Folks who have been interested in getting into Carcassone can’t go wrong with the Big Box as a starting point that’s for sure! The retail price is $75.00 U.S. but rest assured you’ll no doubt be able to find it at Funagain for around $60.
