I sit down to share my thoughts about ran Meccanismo. Will you find this game of action and intrigue in Leonardo Da Vinci’s Florence to be worthy of a place in your collection? Or will you find this clockpunk roleplaying game to be built on nothing but broken gears and stretched out springs? You’ll find out!

Gran Meccanismo | Review and Page-Through

There's plenty to like about Gran Meccanismo and I have to say this is probably the most unique setting for an RPG released by Osprey to this point. This is a storytelling game with very easy mechanics to jump in and get playing right away. I do wish there was more detail about Florence and the clockpunk inventions as well as a timeline to see how things diverge from history. Sadly, Osprey has a habit of releasing RPGs and then never releasing anything to support the line (outside of Jackals) and I certainly hope that isn't the case with Gran Meccanismo.
