About the project:
In the rolling hills of northwestern Ostinad there are ruins wrapped in darkness and haunted by horrors in Elissar’s distant past: Mal Takkar. Dreadful evils stalk the devastated landscape, shadows cast by the crumbling stone are longer than they should be, and it seems as though dawn is always late and sunset comes early.
What once was a magnificent city is now home only to lethal monsters and powerful undead, eager to prey on unwary travellers or foolish adventurers that dare tread this forsaken place.
The origins of this dungeon are utterly lost, the bones of those that constructed it turned to dust by the rigours of time. Their ruins remain how- ever, instilled with a power that’s grown over the epochs as more fools become trapped exploring it.
There are thousands of imprisoned souls shattered, fragmented, and swirling beneath Mal Takkar in search of a peace they may never know.
It is the lure of the unknown and the promise of grand treasures that still draw trespassers into the cursed entrance of this dreaded place. And though none ever leave it, there are still those with enough courage, greed, or desperation to delve below.
