I share my thoughts about the initial adventure collection for the RuneQuest roleplaying game, The Smoking Ruin and Other Stories, from Chaosium Inc. The volume contains a trio of tales as well as three detailed locations for your heroes to explore.

RuneQuest: The Smoking Ruin & Other Stories Reviewed

RuneQuest: The Smoking Ruin & Other Stories is really great book to add to any RuneQuest game master's collection. The titular adventure is a prime example of what makes RuneQuest such a special fantasy roleplaying game. Honestly, I wasn't blown away by the second adventure in the collection and probably would have preferred a fourth adventure rather than the third location but this is still a volume I can highly recommend.
