We move into radio programs of the 1940s with the 2024 October Spooktacular with our first episode of the famed Inner Sanctum Mysteries. My mom fondly remembers the creaking door opening of the show when she listened as a very small girl.
In Terror by Night – which aired on September 18th, 1945 – a woman travelling alone at night hears a radio report of an escaped killer. A murderer who’d rather kill than eat!
