Escape could very well be the finest adventure series from the golden age of radio and was a favorite of millions, even though the series schedule changed frequently due to the lack of an ongoing sponsor. Regardless, the majority of the episodes hold up very well to this very day. The M.L. James supernatural tale Casting the Runes gets adapted for the series – which originally aired on November 19th, 1947 – and is tonight’s entry in The Gaming Gang October Spooktacular.
