Issues with component quality (as well as other production concerns) have led Asmodee Editions to cancel the upcoming release of Hattari. Current copies of the Japanese game of deception and bluffing are plagued with inconsistencies in card patterns as well as problems with components not holding up to repeated play. There’s no word if, or when, a new release will be scheduled but those who currently have purchased a copy have been assured of replacement components being provided.
Not good news for Asmodee following the slam the company received in the December 1st edition of Ted Alspach’s Board2Pieces comic strip…
