Mystery of the Abbey is Back

Mystery of the Abbey is back in stock at Days of Wonder, and you can own it now for $60.00

The Abbey of Saint-Pierre has been quiet these past few years as the monks traveled on a long pilgrimage. But now they are back and once again ready to solve the mystery… Who Killed Brother Adelmo?

Mystery of the Abbey is a whodunit game of deduction and intuition, set in a medieval abbey. Originally released in 2003 as Days of Wonder’s first big box board game, it has won numerous awards and tens of thousands of fans. Out of print for several years, Mystery of the Abbey is now available once again.

Mystery of the Abbey players compete to solve the mystery by moving through the Abbey’s beautifully rendered board and questioning their brethren. You’ll visit the Abbey’s darkest recesses, grabbing some relics here, flipping the pages of some forbidden manuscripts there, attend Mass of course, and question your brethren in a shrewd manner without attracting undue attention to your own deductions.

Mystery of the Abbey includes 1 beautifully rendered board map of the abbey; 6 Monk miniatures; 90 Illustrated cards, 6 Deduction notebooks and 50 Suspect sheets; 3 custom Wooden Monk dice and of course 1 Mass bell to call you to chapel. It accommodates 3-6 players, ages 8+ and takes 60-90 minutes to discover who killed Brother Adelmo! Pick up a copy of Mystery of the Abbey in better game stores in Europe and North America, or order your copy from the Days of Wonder webstore.
