ABC Studios and Cryptozoic Entertainment, the premier developer of original and licensed games, are pleased to announce Castle: The Detective Card Game, an original board game based on ABC’s award winning comedy-drama, “Castle.” Channeling the hit comedy-drama series, Castle: The Detective Card Game is an easy-to-play game and will be available in hobby and retail stores in early 2013. Cryptozoic’s Castle: The Detective Card Game is a murder mystery card game that captures all the wit and drama of the show, bringing fans even closer to the action. Players will compete as one of their favorite characters from the show, including best-selling mystery novelist Richard Castle or Detective Kate Beckett, to solve a murder case. Players will collect and use investigation cards throughout the game to narrow down the case’s suspects until they find the killer. The first person to find the guilty suspect wins the game! The game also features specials event cards that create new twists in the investigation. Additionally, each character has a unique ability that can be used once during each game.
There’s been a murder, and the stars of ABC’s Castle are on the case! In this easy-to-play murder mystery card game, 2–5 players will play as their favorite characters from the show as they collect and use investigation cards to narrow down the suspects until they discover who’s guilty!
Castle: The Detective Card Game offers two ways to play. You can play a single game, which simulates a single episode from the show, or you can play a whole season. If you play a single episode, whoever finds the killer wins the game. If you play a season match, you play multiple games until one of the players has won three games.
