As a big fan of just about all things Ghost in the Shell, I’m thrilled to share the new trailer for part one of a new prequel which will be arrive in Japan’s theaters with a simultaneous Blu-Ray/streaming release on June 22, 2013. The Blu-Ray follows into stores on July 26. Sorry to say no word on when we’ll get to enjoy Production I.G.‘s Ghost in The Shell: Arise here in the States but keep your eyes peeled because as soon as I know so will you.
The first of a four part series is to be titled Ghost Pain and looks as if it follows the early years of Major Motoko Kusanagi’s career before she joins Public Security Section 9.
