Elliott and I will be talking about the past, present and future of Heroscape on Monday’s show and we’ve devoted a good chunk of time to the topic. I’ve seen quite a lot of discussion on various websites regarding what company would be the best fit to pick up the rights to the soon to be defunct franchise and we’re wondering what our visitors think.
Obviously the game is dead at Wizards of the Coast/Hasbro but that doesn’t mean the fork has put in Heroscape at the conglomerate. There may still be life in the old gal yet!
So feel free to share your thoughts on where you’d like to see Heroscape rise again! We did point out that there are negotiations currently going on regarding the series and we’d love to know what your thoughts may be.

Love to see Fantasy Flight bring Heroscape under their wing. I think the possibilities of using Heroscape components for several FFG intellectual properties would also be exciting. A Descent / Runebound based Heroscape set would be a welcomed addition. Also I’d like to see actual dungeon walls, floors and doorway components if they want to introduce something new.
I will echo what mstachiw said. I can’t think of a better home for HS than FFG. They treat their games with respect, and support most of them with multiple expansions. mstachiw’s dungeon idea is great.
Plus, didn’t FFG release a Marvel game a while back? Perhaps that means they could also make a marvelscape expansion wave a reality??
