Although the early word on the Gen Con Firefly RPG preview has been less than stellar, I’ll reserve my take for the final product but the preview/beginner products continue to flow. Margaret Weis Productions has two new releases available before the core set arrives: Firefly Echoes of War: Friends in Low Places and Firefly Echoes of War: Serenity Crew.

The Serenity Crew is compatible with the Echoes of War adventures and all other releases in the Firefly Role-Playing Game line, which are all sold separately. The Firefly Role-Playing Game is based on the hit television series by Fox.

ECHOES OF WAR adventures include basic rules to get you started employing the Cortex Plus game system. Main characters are found in Serenity Crew, which is available separately. All releases in the ECHOES OF WAR line are compatible with the upcoming FIREFLY ROLE-PLAYING GAME, which is based on the television series by Joss Whedon.
