Let’s jump back to the earliest days of radio for tonight’s show. While The Hermit’s Cave wasn’t always the best of programs (most episodes were extremely formulaic) once in a while listeners enjoyed a real treat. Approximately 800 episodes were aired but only forty or so have survived.
In The House on Lost Man’s Bluff, car trouble strands a trio of travelers who end up looking for shelter in what appears to be an abandoned house. Then again, maybe the house isn’t as empty as they think.
A good haunted house tale from the late 1930s.
