‘Spider-Man: Homecoming’ Follow Up Slated for July 2019

Deadline is reporting sources have told them that the follow up to Spider-Man: Homecoming is set for release on July 5th, 2019. It seems Sony Pictures Entertainment and Marvel Studios are aiming to firmly plant the Spidey tentpole in the weekends following the 4th of July; Spider-Man: Homecoming releases July 7th, 2017. Deadline also reports the title for the second Tom Holland headed film will be titled Spider-Man: Homecoming 2.

Personally I think the title is rather lame so here’s hoping the powers that be brainstorm something a bit more original before then…
