Summary
OST Volume II is the sort of squad level wargame which is perfect for me; enough feel and crunch of WWII Western Front action without bogging down in a vast sea of minutia. I enjoy the back an forth of the impulse phases and the lethality of the system's combat. While OST might not dive deep enough into the particulars of either infantry combat or tank on tank for some hard core grognards, I find the system to be appealing to both long time players and newbies to the genre.
