I dive into into the the rules light wargame Crusader Kingdoms from Worthington Publishing. Is this a light complexity wargame one which you’d walk across a blazing desert to add to your collection? Or is this game design about as successful as the Children’s Crusade? You’ll find out!

Summary
The gang and I have really enjoyed Crusader Kingdoms. The components are all top notch and the rules are easy to digest. I especially appreciate the variety of game modes available based on the number of players, although I found it strange that there's no Christians versus Muslims in a two player game. The game mores along quickly and is easy to grasp. I do think Crusader Kings is a little overpriced and wish there were more card variations. This makes for a great gameway into wargaming but is probably far toolight for those who enjoy more complexity.
