Rio Grande Games has announced the next expansion for the original deck building game, Dominion, will be released this October, Dominion: Hinterlands. The description from Rio Grande is humorous and provides almost no information about the expansion at all. What we do know is that the new expansion will add 26 new Kingdom cards to Dominion, including 20 Actions, 3 Treasures, 3 Victory cards, and 3 Reactions. The central theme is cards that do something immediately when you buy them or gain them.
X Plus Products has released Commander in Chief. An abstract strategy wargame that is played on a checkerboard with various military pieces. The pieces consist of land, air and sea units that allow you to fly over (aircraft) or move under (submarines) other units. The pieces can be enhanced during play to give more opportunity for a losing player to come from behind.
Our friends over at Reaper Miniatures always have something cooking as far as helping out the Child’s Play Charity and this coming September is no exception! Releasing on September 12th is the latest in a limited edition of fantasy inspired animal figures sculpted by Jason Wiebe. Soon you’ll make the acquaintance of Shoatima, the Otter Ranger!
Today we learned that one of our favorite Victory Point Games titles, Circus Train, is going to be given the deluxe GMT treatment ala No Retreat. Circus Train Deluxe has been added to the P500 list and I can wholeheartedly say this is welcome news!
