From Cryptozoic:

Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and collectibles, today announced the March 15 release of Cryptkins vinyl figures and the immediate launch of the Cryptkins Channel on Quidd, the fast-growing platform for digital goods on iOS and Android. Cryptkins are Cryptozoic’s first original series of vinyl figures and are inspired by various creatures that have been the subject of folklore and tabloid headlines for decades. The Cryptkins Channel on Quidd will feature static and animated trading cards, stickers, and 3D figures based on both the initial 2.25-inch vinyl figures and future releases.

“With Cryptkins, we have an original IP that we’re really excited about, so we have planned a unique launch of both digital and physical collectibles,” said John Sepenuk, CEO of Cryptozoic. “Through the Cryptkins Channel on Quidd, people can explore the world of Cryptkins and discover these characters’ colorful personalities. And then, beginning in March, they will be able to collect their favorite characters as vinyl figures. Cryptkins are highly collectible in any form and we’re excited to see fans try to get them all!”

Cryptkins vinyl figures are each approximately 2.25-inches tall and include legendary creatures like Nessie, Chupacabra, Cthulhu, Bigfoot, Jersey Devil, and Yeti. There are 13 figures in all, with 2 of them being rare and 1 of them ultra-rare. Sculpted by Sam Greenwell, each figure comes packaged in a collectible, blind-reveal miniature crate.
