I share my thoughts as I page through the illustrated At the Mountains of Madness from Free League Publishing. Is this a must have for Lovecraftian collectors out there? Or will this short hardcover leave you as cold as the wasteland of Antarctica where the titular story takes place? You’ll find out!

Summary
At the Mountains of Madness happens to be my absolute favorite of all Lovecraft tales. The artwork included in this first volume is fantastic and I really highly recommend this book. Truthfully though, I'm disappointed that the novella has been broken into two volumes when I feel a single volume would have provided the best presentation as well as value.
