Today we’ll give a listen to two great talents of the macabre; Edgar Allan Poe and Boris Karloff. In real life he was a wonderful human being but few actors have portrayed evil or diabolical characters any better than Boris Karloff. He was a such fan favorite on Inner Sanctum Mysteries the actor ended up starring in fifteen episodes during the show’s first season. Once we mix in the classic Poe story The Tell-Tale Heart, you know we’ve got a must listen so kick back and enjoy the episode as it originally aired on August 3rd, 1941.
