Most people have heard of the American Forces Network and know how they provide television and radio to servicemen and women around the world. During the 1940s through the early 1960s plenty of radio entertainment was provided by way of the AFN’s predecessor, Armed Forces Radio Service. While many of the programs were provided by radio networks, original content was created as well. Macabre was a horror eight episode series produced by the Armed Forces Radio Service Far East Network.
So sit back and turn out the lights and give a listen to The Edge of Evil from Macabre as it aired on January 8th, 1962.
