Agents of Mayhem – Pride of Babylon Vaporizes Kickstarter Goal in First Hours

Agents of Mayhem - Pride of Babylon (Academy Games)Academy Games has a new board game which hit Kickstarter this morning and, amazingly enough, it isn’t a historical title but one based on the most recent Saints Row console game. In partnership with Apollo GamesAgents of Mayhem – Pride of Babylon pits two to four players in a miniatures driven SF slug fest between the heroes of MAYHEM and villains of LEGION. The project blasted past its funding goal in the first few hours and you can reserve a copy of the core bage, expansion, and all Kickstarter exclusives at an early bird special $85.00 pledge level for the next four days. After that the pledge is $90.00.

About the project:

Agents of Mayhem – Pride of Babylon is a 2-4 player 3D tactical boardgame. Play head to head or as teams in an immersive campaign with a radiant storyline. Decisions you make have ripple effects that impact your future missions, assets, and abilities. Every group’s experience is unique in an open world that can branch into dozens of different story-lines full of humor and awesomeness with hundreds of ways to win.

Note: We rate Pride of Babylon as PG-13. This board game is based on the popular video game series which contains strong language in some instances.

Pride of Babylon features:

  • Fast paced tactical game play
  • Customize teams of unique characters
  • Upgrade characters after each game with new abilities
  • A modular 3D map of fully destructible buildings
  • An immersive campaign with a radiant storyline that evolves into a unique experience for every group.
  • Dozens of highly detailed miniatures, 3D buildings, and awesome expansions to unlock.

Each player takes control of a team of three uniquely skilled MAYHEM agents or LEGION bosses and troopers. Every character is unique and has their own play style with their own set of abilities and upgrades that can be unlocked after each game. Finding the right combination of characters and tactics is half the fun of Agents of Mayhem: Pride of Babylon. The other half is blowing stuff up!
