August Brings ‘Tiny Epic Defenders Second Edition’ and ‘The Dark War’ Expansion

Tiny Epic Defenders Second Edition (Gamelyn Games)Gamelyn Games will be celebrating a big August as not only will the second edition of Tiny Epic Defenders arrive but also an expansion, The Dark War. The new edition promises updated gameplay, bolstered artwork, and even ITEMeeples. Both the core game and expnasion are for one to four players, ages 14+, play in around 30-50 minutes, and will each carry an MSRP of $25.00 when they hit stores August 1st.

What’s new:

  • Revamped gameplay – Many rule changes, small and large, has taken place to re-balance and enrich the game, including new character powers, new powers for Outer Regions, and completely redesigned Epic Foes, along with many subtle changes to the setup and rules.
  • All new art – Completely redesigned to get in line with the current art direction of Tiny Epic line.
  • ITEMeeples – Items have been redesigned to be permanent additions and this is artistically represented with ITEMeeples, first introduced in Tiny Epic Quest.

Tiny Epic Defenders The Dark War, an expansion to Tiny Epic Defenders, is the latest installment in Chronicles of Aughmoore. It introduces new Heroic characters like the Lionkin Charioteer and the Birdfolk Shadow Walker. It also introduces new Epic Foes, new Dire Enemies, and new Artifacts, but more importantly it introduces new and exciting features that keep players making difficult choices from the edge of their seats.

These new features include a Campaign Mode, with Enemy Generals, Skills that Heroes can learn, Advanced Regions and Caravans.
