Summary
While the subject matter might not be everyone's bag of tricks, I found Descent Into Avernus to be a really interesting adventure overall. There are plenty of NPCs and factions to not only pit against the players but also each other as the PCs try to escape the clutches of hellish devil and demons amidst the background of the Blood War. The adventure does start off as quite a bit of a railroad but, thankfully, the players will have loads of options as far as resolving the story's climax. Very solid and certainly worth checking out for most DMs.
