Independent TTRPGs at DriveThruRPG

I’m always looking to promote smaller shows out there so of course you know I’ll make mention of the Laughing Moon Con taking place Saturday October 20th practically in my back yard – Goodyear, Arizona. Granted, I can’t say I thought much of the RPG in my review, but hey, that’s just my opinion and I know there are plenty of fans of the game. So if you’re in the area be sure to stop by and check it out!

From the release:

Held at Desert Edge High School, students and families can enjoy the event with the local community.  All proceeds from the convention go to extracurricular clubs at Desert Edge.

A $5 Entry fee at the door gets you into the convention for the entire day.

For the younger generation, this is a rare chance to meet and speak with authors and artists.  Learn about the writing process first hand, or watch a character sketch come to life!  It’s like a localized mini Comic Con event with the younger generation in mind.

The day will also feature dozens of different gaming opportunities ranging from board games,  card games, dice games, and role-playing adventure games.  This is a fun way to socialize and spend a few hours in good company as you strategize, problem solve, and bring fictional characters to life.

Desert Edge High School extracurricular clubs will be fundraising at the event, and every dollar you spend at their tables will help their club grow.

Already we have special appearances by many local artists, K.I.T.T the talking car from the original Knight Rider TV show, upcoming movie trailers presented with raffle giveaways by Barry Bard’s “At the Movies,” a haunted house, AND a car chase featuring the General Lee from the Dukes of Hazzard!

There is an entire world of adventure and storytelling just waiting for you to discover!
