Mage Wars Finally Conjuring This Summer

A title that seems to have been on the horizon forever looks as if it finally has a release date set. Or at least we know what season we should see Mage Wars …this summer. Elfinwerks and Arcane Wonders have teamed to release this card-driven tactical board game.

From the Mage Wars site:

In Mage Wars, you’ll battle in the realm of Taern, a broken world filled with war and chaos. But all is not lost, there are still those who seek to restore, rather than pillage and destroy. Will your Mage fight to redeem a ravaged world or will you seek to usher in a new era under your control? Taern is a large world, with several powerful nations and schools of magic to choose from. You will discover many brilliant and powerful Mages through your combat. Will you conquer them or be destroyed?
