Newcomers Unfiltered Games has a family game up for crowdfunding

Moonshell (Unfiltered Games)The first release from Unfiltered Games, designed by Calli Wright, is now up for crowdfunding. Moonshell: A Mermaid Game, features a bit of a strategy puzzle take on the tile collecting/pattern building genre. The game is for one to four players, ages 8+, and plays in around 20 minutes. The project is right around the 50% mark to its funding goal and you can reserve a copy of the game for a $39.00 pledge through March 21st. Expected delivery is this December.

About the game:

Play as a mermaid to shift the tides in your direction, collect valuable seashells, and create a stunning collection. The game takes about 20-30 minutes to play and is geared for ages 8 and up.

The game features a rotating central ocean board filled with colorful seashells of different types. Each player will get a treasure chest board to display their collected seashells and a mermaid character with a unique special ability. Each game will have five open objectives, as well as the option to add secret objectives that only you can achieve. The objective card options and variable starting boards means each game is unique for tons of replayability.

Create your seashell collection by rotating the board, pulling seashells toward you, gathering them and placing them strategically on your treasure board. Combo and overlap patterns of different shapes and colors to get the highest score. Your special wild moonshell tile will also allow you to strategically complete multiple objectives. When one mermaid has filled their treasure chest board, players complete the round and then score up their points.

May the cleverest mermaid win!
