PIRATE BORG: Down Among the Dead Crushes Over $300k Kickstarter Funding in First Hours

Limithron has launched a new Kickstarter to bring a series of fresh PIRATE BORG roleplaying releases to the public. The core entries are the adventure supplement Down Among the Dead, the player options tome Cabin Fever, and even a PIRATE BORG Starter Set. The Kickstarter has already passed the three hundred thousand dollar mark and you can reserve a copy of the new content Down Among the Dead, Cabin Fever, and the Starter Set (with PDFs) for $90.00 pledge through October 15th. Expected delivery is March for the digital releases and September 2025 for the physical.

Beginning Tuesday, September 17, backers will be able to pick up a trove of new content, including the new hardcover expansion, Down Among the Dead, featuring three new adventures and a host of new GM resources. But that’s just the first volley…

The same Kickstarter will also fund the PIRATE BORG Starter Set. In this box, you’ll find a new adventure, Trapped in the Tropics, a Player’s Guide, encounter maps, naval and combat tokens, reference cards, cheat sheets, and a set of Jolly Roger dice. There’s also a second hardcover on offer! Cabin Fever is a 180-page compendium packed with player options, roll tables, and six new adventures all created by Limithron’s Conspirator creator community.
