The latest supplement for the Realms of Pugmire 5E based setting is up for crowdfunding for Onyx Path Publishing. Pirates of Pugmire takes to the high seas and includes new species, allies and enemies, rules for ships and sailing, a trio of adventures, and lots more. Right now Pirates of Pugmire is about 75% of the way to its funding goal with thirteen days to go. You can reserve a copy of the supplement in PDF for a $20.00 pledge or snag the hardcover for a $45.00 pledge through June 20th, with an expected delivery of September 2020.
From Onyx Path:
The main goal of this Pirates of Pugmire Kickstarter is to enable us to create a hardcover edition of the Pirates of Pugmire book compatible with the other Realms of Pugmire core rulebooks such as Pugmire and Monarchies of Mau.
We want to create an 7″ x 10″ hardcover with an evocative, action-packed cover image and a Pugmire- and Mau-inspired cover design. We estimate the book to be between 150-200 pages, with a full-color interior and endpapers on high quality paper stock. Exceptional funding may allow us to add Stretch Goals that further develop the setting and add additional materials for play, including further depth to the two new playable species! We also want to get at least one print run into traditional distribution and available for sale at game and hobby stores.
Pirates of Pugmire is a chronicle sourcebook for both Pugmire and Monarchies of Mau. It’s usable in either game, or as part of a joint experience. Some highlights include:
- Two new species for players to enjoy: lizards and birds
- Six new callings, including two for dogs and two for cats
- Rules for building, sailing, and sinking ships
- A trove of new allies, enemies, and treasures
- Information on Waterdog Port and Port Matthew
- “Going on the Account,” a chronicle of three new adventures, taking characters from 1st through 6th level
