Six Hobbit and LOTR Games Coming from Cryptozoic

Cryptozoic Entertainment has now revealed the titles and approximate release dates for six games, all based on the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies. The license was first revealed by Cryptozoic at the recent New York Toy Fair although very little is known about the games at this point outside of the titles and when we may see them on store shelves.

The Lord of the Rings Deck-building Game is scheduled to release in Fall 2012, before the first Hobbit film is released in theaters.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Deck-Building Game is planned for a Christmas 2012 release.

The Hobbit Expandable Trading Card Game is also scheduled for Christmas this year.

The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey Board Game is expected to release in Spring 2013.

The Hobbit: There and Back Again Deck-Building Game, which will also release in Winter 2013 to correspond with the release of the second Hobbit film.
